Who we are.

Trained & Informed
NDIS-Aligned
Strengths-Based

We provide specialised disability and community support for individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those living with Psychosocial Illness and Disabilities. Our journey is inspired by our own family’s lived experience, we understand the need for consistent, compassionate care that truly fits. We do things differently—because our client's deserve more than basic support; they deserve tailored, informed, trained support workers that empower their lives in ways that fit for them.
How We're Different.

Our Journey started when we saw first-hand the pitfalls and gaps in the health industry, when a close family member was diagnosed with FASD. Through our experience we met members of our community needing more, but little out there available to offer it.
We heard stories of support workers without the correct training and experience being paired with clients and participants that needed tailored, informed support. Providers that were not taking the time to truly understand their clients and merely satisfying the bare minimum to "tick a box". We don't need to share the stories of the gaps in the NDIS system, we just want to be a part of the change that does better.
All of our support workers have the correct, comprehensive and satisfactory trainings and qualifications prior to being paired with their participant. We ensure that not only do they have the education and training, but the personality, willingness and passion to truly show up every day and make a difference in the lives of their clients. Because we know that, that is the least we could do.
Our Services
Our trained support workers assist individuals in daily activities, accessing local services, building life skills, and participating in community life — all tailored to the participant’s goals, strengths, and support needs.

Advocacy & Awareness
Your experience is close to our hearts, and at the core of what we do. We’re proud to focus on our clients in ways that we fail to see in the health industry. Our mission is to continue improving the calibre of support clients receive in our communities and across the country.

Our Story
From our family, to yours.
Foundations Support Services began with family.
When a family member was diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), we came face to face with just how overlooked and misunderstood FASD is in Australia. The experience of diagnosis was long, filled with confusion, stigma, and barriers. Once the diagnosis came, the next challenge began: finding the right kind of support.
We saw first-hand how many services weren’t equipped to understand our experience, let alone work with us in a way that felt informed, respectful, and empowering. So, as a family, we decided to do something about it.
Born from lived experience, Foundations Support Services was created to fill the gaps we saw. We’re not a generic provider—we’re a family of carers, advocates, and support workers who know what it means to navigate this journey. Our approach is guided by empathy, consistency, and real understanding of the everyday challenges and unique strengths of people with accessing help.
We’re here to offer more than just services—we’re here to walk alongside you with care that’s tailored, informed, and built on trust. Because everyone deserves support that is Grounded in care.
